3d_Artist

3D Artist Position

Location: San Francisco (Or Remote)

 

We are looking for professionals with extensive experience in product and architectural 3d visualization. He/she will work both with our SF-based production team and our partner production offices overseas.
 

We are currently looking for more senior artists who would be able to produce renderings and animations at the same level of quality as you can see on our website. The ideal candidate should be able to create extremely photorealistic "hard-to-tell-if it's real or not" visuals. 

                

Expert working knowledge of:

  • 3D Studio Max or Cinema 4D;

  • Advanced 3D modelling skills (Hight/Low polygonal modelling);

  • VRay, Corona or Redshift renderer;

  • Advanced Materials skills for Vray, Corona or Redshift (Ability to accurately recreate physically correct materials for use in 3D);

  •  UVW and Unwrapping techniques for correct texture placement;

  • Strong understanding of studio and Architectural lighting;

  • Experience with parametric scattering tools (Forespack or Multiscatter);

  • Ability to handle various 3D CAD output formats through architectural, product and engineering software (Revit, Rhino, Autocad, Sketchup, Inventor, etc) and importing them for use in 3D Studio Max or Cinema 4D;

  •  Hands-on experience with working and understanding architectural CAD drawings;

  • Proficiency in Rhino and ability to repair or adjust .STP geometry for production quality 3D models; 

  •  Expertise in Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom : Advanced post-production skillset; 

  • Knowledge of After Effects for compositing and basic motion graphics is a big plus; 

  • Working knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and Unity Engine highly desirable;

  • Knowledge of Illustrator and vector drawings.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Producer at Transparent House. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.

               

Experience 

  • You have at least 3 years of work experience as a Producer in CG production or Visual Effects;​​

  • You have experience dealing directly with clients and vendors. You know how to gather complex information and you know how to decode that information to a clear plan of action;​

  • You have experience dealing directly with creatives, and you know how to clearly communicate requests into actionable plans;​

  • You have experience preparing documents surrounding the project, including Scope, Instructions for Creatives and Vendors, Presentations to the Clients, Schedules etc.;​

  • You are proficient or extremely familiar in working with 3ds Max or Cinema 4D, Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop. Video editing or HTML knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of using Midjourney in every day work as well as other AI tools is a big plus;​

  • You have experience with digital visual formats and have a proficient understanding of files and formats for various visual mediums.

Key responsibilities*

  • Manage individual or teams of artists and monitor projects from A to Z. Budgets, Schedules, Statements of Work;

  • Aiding Sales team during the lifecycle of a project, from first inquiry to final delivery and beyond;​

  • Serve as liaison between clients, sales and creative and production teams;​

  • Maintain and grow excellent client relationships for Transparent House;​

  • Contribute daily to the success of the project including keeping processes running smoothly, guaranteeing an on-5me schedule, avoiding and/or minimizing overtime and ensuring the general satisfaction of the client with the progress and results;​

  • Monitor your projects closely on a daily basis to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Position Overview:
Transparent House is seeking a proactive Director of Sales  to join our team and drive growth through strategic client acquisition and relationship management. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a passion for CG, animation, and creative production services. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering sales targets in line with Transparent House's vision. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales within the creative, digital, or CG industry and a deep understanding of the value that high-quality visualizations and animations bring to clients in sectors like architecture, real estate, consumer electronics, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
 
1. Business Development:
 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets, including architecture, interior design, real estate, and product manufacturing.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to create a sales strategy that highlights Transparent House’s strengths in CG and animation, focusing on the unique benefits our services provide to clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, understand their needs and how Transparent House can solve their business challenges through visualization and creative content.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Coordinate with the production team to develop customized proposals, project scopes, and presentations that align with clients’ needs and budget requirements.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure new projects, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability for Transparent House.
3. Sales Strategy and Execution:
 
  • Work with leadership to set and achieve sales targets, aligning with Transparent House’s overall growth strategy.
  • Develop and present pitches that communicate Transparent House’s expertise, past project successes, and the business value of our services.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create targeted outreach campaigns, leveraging case studies, testimonials, and thought leadership content to attract new clients.

4. Reporting and Analysis:
 
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, analyzing trends and making recommendations for strategy adjustments.

Qualifications:
